We’re committed to improving the environment and being active in the local communities in which we operate. It’s important to me, and to everyone at IHS. Our next goal is to cut our CO2 emissions further. We’re working hard on that.

Business Ethics and Governance
Honesty and integrity are vital for the long-term success of our business and the ethical wellbeing of us all. Our professional standards are exceptionally high, and we have systems and processes in place to ensure compliance with anti-bribery and corruption laws.
Education doesn’t stop just because you start working – quite the reverse. We take care of our people, providing them with a safe, healthy working environment, where opportunities to develop professionally and personally are part of every working day. We do not tolerate discrimination, bullying or harassment, and the wellbeing of our people is our utmost concern.
The well-being of our communities is our priority. We take pride in our innovative technologies which help reduce carbon emissions and noise levels. At IHS, we take all feedback very seriously and always seek to respond as quickly as possible.
Environment and Green energy
It is our goal, and our duty, to minimise the impact of what we do on the environment, and to protect the places where we operate and the wider world. So we are decreasing our use of diesel, using renewable energy wherever possible, and carefully managing every aspect of our environmental risk.
Education and Empowerment
We recognise that throughout the emerging markets, education is the key to social and economic development. That’s why, wherever we operate, much of our charitable and community activity concentrates on educational projects – from scholarships to refurbishments – all with the aim of increasing the power and capacity of our local community members.
