IHS Brazil to Present Indoor Connectivity Solutions at the Innovative Operators Forum

March 17, 2025, São Paulo: IHS Brazil, part of IHS Holding Limited (NYSE: IHS) ("IHS Towers"), one of the largest independent owners, operators and developers of shared communications infrastructure in the world by tower count, will be presenting its indoor connectivity solutions at the Innovative Operators Forum, March 18 to 19, at the WTC Events Center in São Paulo.

On March 19, at 4:20pm, Antonio Maya, CTO, IHS Latam, will participate in the panel, "Overcoming indoor connectivity challenges," and share insights on the company's innovative solutions aimed at improving mobile connectivity.

During the discussion, Maya will demonstrate how IHS Brazil's neutral infrastructure model is helping accelerate 5G adoption in high-density urban environments through Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), making connectivity projects more economically viable in critical locations such as shopping centers, subways, and airports. Most notably, the installation of IHS Brazil’s DAS infrastructure on Line 5-Lilac of the São Paulo Metro. Already inaugurated at Campo Belo, Brooklin, Borba Gato and Alto da Boa Vista stations, the solution is expected to serve about 630,000 people daily through cutting-edge 5G connectivity.
